After the success of our ‘Glorious Gloria’ Christmas concert we have now started work on Mozart’s Requiem for our concert on May 11th. 

We meet on Monday evenings at 7pm in the recently refurbished Harvey Centre, Minsterworth, GL2 8JH.

The centre, just over the road from the Village Hall, used to be Minsterworth Primary School.

We are always interested in recruiting new singers – at the moment we are particularly looking for altos and basses although all are welcome. We don’t audition; you are welcome to join us at one of our regular rehearsals and find out if we suit each other. We don’t expect you to be able to sight-sing, but some music reading ability is an advantage.

During lockdown the choir kept in touch with Zoom rehearsals, and then, when we were able, met safely in person outdoors in the wonderful setting of Highnam Court Gardens. 

Lee Wiltamuth, our new Music Director, puts the tenors and basses through their paces at Highnam Court.

We then moved to The Harvey Centre. Our first rehearsal there took place on Monday, September 6th 2021.
